Queso Me Mucho is operated by Middle Ground LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). We operate this web app to help people find, rate, and review queso and Tex-Mex spots. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. By using the app, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Location: If you allow it, we use your device location to show nearby spots and sort the list by distance. Your location is used in your browser to do this and is not stored on our servers. You can decline, and the app still works.
• Reviews, ratings, votes, and photos: Anything you post (a cheese rating, a written review, a helpful/not-helpful vote, or a photo) is saved and shown publicly in the app.
• Anonymous account: So we can attach your reviews and votes to you, we create an anonymous ID for your device. We do not require your name, email, or password to use the app.
• Suggestions: If you submit a spot through "Suggest a queso," we keep the name, address, and any note you include so we can review it.
• Basic technical data: Like most websites, our hosting and database providers may log standard technical information (such as device type and approximate region) to keep the service running and secure.

How we use it

We use this information to run and improve the app: to show spots near you, display reviews and ratings, rank the most helpful reviews, and review the spots people suggest. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We rely on a few trusted services to operate. These include Supabase (database, anonymous sign-in, and photo storage), OpenStreetMap (map tiles), and, if you visit our merch store, Fourthwall (which has its own privacy policy and handles any purchases). Following our Instagram link takes you to Instagram, governed by its own policy.

Your choices

You can turn off location sharing at any time in your browser or device settings. If you would like a review or photo you submitted removed, contact us using the email on our Contact page and we will take care of it.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.

Restaurant details such as names, addresses, map pins, and hours are gathered from public sources and from user suggestions, and may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Please confirm details with the restaurant directly before traveling. Map pins are approximate; the "Get directions" link uses the listed address.

Your content

You are responsible for the reviews, ratings, and photos you submit. By posting, you confirm the content is yours to share and grant us a non-exclusive license to display it within the app. Do not post anything false, misleading, unlawful, infringing, harassing, or that you do not have the right to share. We may remove content or limit access at our discretion.

Ratings are opinions

Reviews and ratings reflect the views of the people who post them, not us. They are personal opinions, not statements of fact.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app, attempt to disrupt it, scrape it, or use it to violate any law or the rights of others.

Merch

Any merchandise is sold through our third-party store (Fourthwall), and those purchases are subject to that provider's terms, payment processing, shipping, and returns.
